Share your survey via email

Why email?

You can share your surveys from Trustmary in multiple ways. One of the most effective ways is to send an email invitation directly from Trustmary, which can be done in the Survey editor.

There are multiple advantages to sending a survey with email versus the other methods:
Send automatic reminders. You can set up to 3 reminders that automatically reminds those of the respondees who haven't answered yet.
Configure recurring survey invitations. Schedule a survey invitation to be sent on a specified time and date, and have it be automatically sent again in a week, month, quarter, etc.
Track message/survey opens & answers. See how the invitation and survey performs in the Results section. The status of the invitation/survey answer is shown next to the contact email.
Use in conjunction with integrations. You can also fully automate your surveys and review collection by integrating Trustmary with your CRM, ERP, etc via our API or Zapier. Simply move contacts to the survey's contact list, and let the automated survey take care of the rest.
Create more detailed reports from answers. Using our Reports feature, you can see important numbers about survey engagement when the surveys have been sent from Trustmary.

How to send

Start by creating a survey by clicking the Create Survey button in the Survey section.

When you first open the survey, you can see a modal prompting you to select a sharing method. You can learn more about the sharing methods in their own article on our help center.

You can change the share method later in the top-right corner of the editor, but in this case we'll focus on the email invitation.

Once you have email selected as your method, you'll see the Email template tab at the top of the editor. From here you can set your triggers, edit message templates, and set reminders (up to three). You can also send a test message to your own email with the button above the preview.

When you've got the message all set up, you can add your contacts from an already existing contact list, an imported file, or by copying them over. If you're importing new contacts, remember to map the contact fields under Column types to the right data from your import.

When everything is done, click Confirm contacts.

You can check the message settings one more time in the next modal. If everything looks OK, click Send survey to start collecting responses!
