You can share your Trustmary surveys with multiple different methods. In this article, we'll explore the different ways of sharing surveys, and give examples of use cases where the methods in question would be most effective.

Methods of sharing

Trustmary currently offers five different methods of sharing surveys to respondees. The methods are:

Email invitation
Sending the survey from Trustmary via email.

Embed on website
Embedding the survey directly onto a webpage.

Email signature
Attaching the survey's first question (Star rating, NPS, CSAT) to your email signature.

QR code link
A QR code that can be shared digitally or printed out on physical media.

Direct link sharing
Sharing a link to the survey that can be used virtually anywhere.

To change the method on your survey, simply click on the arrow in your according share button in the top-right, and select Edit share type to bring back the above menu.

Where to use each method?

Each method can be used in various use cases. Here are some examples we came up with to get the most out of Trustmary surveys for you.

Email invitation

Send automatic reminders
You can set your surveys to send automatic reminders to recipients who haven't responded yet. This way you can encourage recipients who might have forgotter or are unsure to give a review or feedback. Reminders can be set in the survey editor when editing your email template.

Schedule survey invitations
Are you planning on sending out a survey at a specific date and time, for example after an event? Schedule the survey to be sent automatically in the email template menu.

Track message/survey opens & answers
If the survey is shared via email through Trustmary, you can track how the messages are opened by each recipient, and what they answer. This could for example help you determine at what time to send our surveys, or how to word your emails. All this useful information can be found under Results in the survey editor.

Create more detailed reports from answers
Collecting reviews with Trustmary enables you to create comprehensive reports from your answers. You can use data from multiple surveys and compare the results, see trends, and have numbers laid out in easy-to-understand ways.

Use in conjunction with integrations
The email invitations work great when integrating third-party apps and systems to Trustmary. You could send contacts from your lead generation, CRM, or sales software to a contact list in Trustmary, and set surveys to be automatically sent to these contacts.

Embed on website

Dedicated feedback page on your website
Make an easy channel for your customers to give feedback and reviews with a dedicated feedback page. Embed a survey to the page, and collect answers directly from your site.

Thank you page survey in eCommerce
A thank you page on your web store is a great place to collect feedback on how the buying process went for the customer. Most platforms let you edit these pages, and embedding an eye-catching survey there will give you great insights on how to improve your store or processes.

Collect direct feedback of your web app
Do you have a web app and want to know what users think of it? Embed a Trustmary survey with a popup or button to the app to capture user feedback from a precise place or moment in the app.

Pro tip: Experiment with the different embed types to find the perfect one for your site or app. Changes are automatically applied live to your site, no need to swap the code!

Email signature

A survey for everyone who’s in direct contact with customers
Having an NPS scale, star rating, or CSAT scale attached to the signature of your representative's email makes sure their customers always have a feedback channel on hand. This is also great for collecting feedback on certain teams or representatives.

Collect feedback & reviews passively with each email
Don't want to schedule dedicated messages or share links to customers when contacting them? Add a survey to your email signature and let the responses flow in without so much as moving a finger!

Lower the threshold of answering to the survey
Some users might not like to answers surveys in fear of them being long and complicated. By letting them answer the first questions already in the email, they're more likely to finish the whole survey.

Collect feedback & reviews in brick & mortar stores, conventions, etc.
Bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds and add QR codes pointing to your survey into your physical locations. For example, having a code on every table in a restaurant will give your happy customers an easy way to leave great reviews.

Guides, manuals, thank you notes, etc. delivered with your product
Have something delivered with your product such as a manual or a thank you note? Print a QR code in there!

The direct link can be used virtually anywhere
There's really no limit to how you could share the survey via direct link. Some of our customers put the link into their chat platforms messaging, some add it to a button on their website, and some simply send it to customers in everyday messaging. The possibilities truly are endless.
