Quick steps

1. Open Surveys in Trustmary, and open an existing survey or click Create Survey.
2. Pick a share method for the survey and click Save.
3. Finish the survey in the survey editor.
4. Start collecting from the yellow button in the top right.

Collecting reviews and feedback starts from a survey. Surveys live under Surveys in the left-hand navigation, and every account has one created for it already. A new one comes from Create Survey in the top right.

Selecting the share method

A survey that has not been opened before opens the Sharing method selection modal first. There are five methods to choose from: Email Invitation, Embed on Website, Email Signature, QR Code Link and Direct Link Sharing.

The choice is not final. The share method is changed later from the three-dot menu in the top right of the survey editor, under Edit share type.

The survey editor

The middle of the editor shows the survey flow, page by page. The tabs along the top switch the view. The first tab, Editor, shows the structure. The tab after it depends on the share method: Email template under Email Invitation, Preview & configuration under Embed on Website. Preview shows the working survey and Results holds everything the survey has collected. Above the tabs sits the survey name, which is also where a survey is renamed or deleted.

The yellow button in the top right changes with the share method — Invite contacts under Email Invitation, Get script under Embed on Website.

The left-hand panel holds the survey settings — the survey's Pages, the question type, the logic, and the Review connections a reviewer is sent to.

Wrapping up

Once the survey is ready, collection starts with the chosen method. An email invitation sent through Trustmary gives the most insight into respondents: opens and answers show on the Results tab, and the survey can send automatic reminders to those who have not answered.
