In this article we will be taking a look at on how to embed Trustmary's testimonials and surveys to a website when using Squarespace as the content management system. If you're looking for instructions on the same subject but for a different platform, please refer to the other articles in our Help documentation's Integrations section.
Getting the embed code
First of all, you will need to copy the embed code for the inpage embed or the survey you're embedding from Trustmary.
For the reviews or testimonials, the code can be found by choosing the embed in question and opening it from the Embeds page, which can be seen on the image below.
The embed code will be shown on the embeds front page. The code can be copied by clicking the Copy embed code button, or manually selecting and copying it.
For surveys, the embed code can be found in the Collect tab of the survey in question. Once there, scroll down to the end of the page and you will see a section titled Embed to Website. Click Copy under the code snippet and you're ready to move to the next step.
Embedding the code in Squarespace
Now that you have the embed code, head to your Squarespace page editor and click Edit in the corner of your page's preview to start editing.
In the editing view, click on a blue plus icon in the spot you want to place the embed. In the menu that pops up, choose Embed as the block type.
Once the embed block has been placed, click on the </>-icon on the right side of the embed's window. Paste the embed code that you copied earlier into the text box with the "Add code..." text in it.
Congratulations, the embed is now on your site! Note that you might not see it yet in the preview of your page. To verify it is working correctly, head out of the editing view by navigating to the Done drop-down menu in the upper left corner and clicking Save.
Now you can check that everything is allright with the embed. Note that you might need to click on the blue Enable Scripts in Preview button in the bottom of the page to get the embed rolling in the preview. Once you've verified the embed is responsive and moving, you're all set!
