In this article we will be taking a look at on how to embed Trustmary's testimonials and surveys to a web site when using MyCashflow as the content management system. In this example, we will be using the testimonial embed. If you're looking for instructions on the same subject but for a different platform, please refer to the other articles in our Help documentation's Integrations section.

Getting the embed code

First of all, you will need to copy the embed code for your embed. At the moment, you can embed testimonials and surveys with their respective codes. See the instructions below on how to get the code you would like to use.

Testimonial inpage

For the reviews or testimonials, the code can be found by choosing the embed in question and opening it from the Embeds page, which can be seen on the image below.

The embed code will be shown on the embeds front page. The code can be copied by clicking the Copy embed code button, or manually selecting and copying it. After this, you're ready to start embedding the code.

For surveys, the embed code can be found in the Collect tab of the survey in question. Once there, scroll down to the end of the page and you will see a section titled Embed to Website. Click Copy under the code snippet and you're ready to start embedding the code.

Embedding the code in MyCashflow

Front page and similar pages

MyCashflow makes it rather simple to embed code such as ours to a site. Now that you have the embed code, navigate to the overview page of MyCashflow. From the overview, locate the Products tab near the top.

From the products tab you can either select an existing product or category to edit, or add a new one.

Once you're in the editing view of a product or category, scroll down until you see a text box titled Description or Product information. Look for a button with brackets in the top of the text box and click it. This turns on the code editing mode in the box. Don't worry, you can't miss it; the box turns black when the mode is turned on.

Now just paste the code into the text box and click Save in the bottom of the page. Once the changes are saved, you can take a look at your brand new embed by clicking the View store button in the upper right side of the page.

And that's it! You now have your testimonials on your site for all your visitors to see.

Order confirmation ("thank you") page

Embedding something into a order confirmation page is a bit more technical, but it can be done with very little prior knowledge by following the instructions.

If would like to embed a survey into a order confirmation page for testimonial gathering, see MyCashflow's instructions on how to find the confirmation page.

Following these instruvtions, navigate to the page file and paste your survey's embed code where you would like it to appear. The code snippet can be found in the survey's Collect tab.
