To use this type of integration, you will need a Zapier account. For sign up and log in, visit Zapier.com. If you have questions regarding Zapier itself, please consult the Zapier help documentation page.
If you're installing popups, you will also need a Google Tag Manager account, which can be created and accessed from Tagmanager.google.com. If you have questions regarding Google Tag Manager itself, please consult the Tag Manager help documentation page.
Installing popups
Installing Google Tag Manager on Squarespace
Installing Google Tag Manager onto Squarespace can be done by getting the container code from your Google Tag Manager and injecting the code to your Squarespace site. For more detailed instructions on the installation process, take a look at this article.
Installing popups with Google Tag Manager
We recommend using Google Tag Manager to install the Trustmary popup script, as this helps ensure the popup is always shown to visitors. For more information on the installation process, check out our installation guide.
Zapier integrations
In this section, we will be taking a look at integrating Squarespace and Trustmary via Zapier. Before you start creating integrations with Zapier, we recommend you take a look at our general Zapier integration guide to learn how the basic process of integrating your apps works with Zapier.
Trigger events (from Squarespace to Trustmary)
Having Squarespace as the trigger in Zapier enables you to transfer data from Squarespace to Trustmary. A trigger can be used to launch the set functions. Currently, the only trigger event that Squarespace has available on Zapier is New Form Submission.
Action events (from Trustmary to Squarespace)
At the moment Squarespace has no Actions in Zapier, which means it can only be used to activate a certain workflow.
