Installing Google Tag Manager to your CMS
The installation of Google Tag Manager is a bit different for every CMS or eCommerce platform. Instructions on how to install it onto your particular platform can be found on this help page in the Integrations section under CMS & eCommerce.
Finding your widget script
First, you need to find the widget script, which can be done in 3 simple steps:
Navigate to Widgets on app.trustmary.com
Select a widget, and navigate to the tab Rules near the top
Copy the script under Trustmary tag.
Your script is now ready and just needs to be installed onto your website.
Installing through Google Tag Manager
Installing the script to your site through Google Tag Manager can be done with just 10 easy steps detailed below:
Navigate to tagmanager.google.com
Login to the Google account associated with your business
Click Tags from the left menu
Click New from the right
Name the tag (for example: Trustmary script - all pages)
Click Tag configuration and choose "Custom HTML" from the right menu
Copy and paste the Trustmary script to the empty HTML box
Click Triggering below and choose All pages
Click Save
Submit the changes by clicking Submit from the top right and Publish and Continue after that
The tag should look similar to the image below. After this you're good to go!
