Installing Google Tag Manager to your CMS

The installation of Google Tag Manager is a bit different for every CMS or eCommerce platform. To find out how Google Tag Manager can be installed to your particular platform, please refer to the help article of said platform.

Finding your popup script

First, you need to find the popup script, which can be done in 3 simple steps:

  1. Navigate to Notifications at

  2. Click Install script

  3. Copy and paste the script somewhere safe (e.g. notepad)

Your script is now ready and you just need to install it onto your website.

Installing through Google Tag Manager

If you are using Google Tag Manager on your site, you can use the steps listed below to install your script.

  1. Navigate to

  2. Login to your Tag Manager account you want the script to be installed to

  3. Click Tags from the left menu

  4. Click New from the right

  5. Name the tag (for example: Trustmary script - all pages)

  6. Click Tag configuration and choose "Custom HTML" from the right menu

  7. Copy and paste the Trustmary script to the empty HTML box

  8. Click Triggering below and choose All pages

  9. Click Save

  10. Submit the changes by clicking Submit from the top right and Publish and Continue after that

The tag should look similar to the image below. After this you're good to go!
