# How to add a Review Widget to your Squarespace website

# Introduction

In this article we will be taking a look at on how to embed Trustmary's testimonials and surveys to a Squarespace website. If you're looking for instructions on the same subject but for a different platform, check out our other articles in our Help documentation's [Integrations](https://help.trustmary.com/category/integrations) section.

# Getting the embed code

Start by navigating to the **Widgets** section in Trustmary. In there, select a widget or create a new one.

In the widget editor, click the **Add to website** button which opens up a drawer. From there, copy the code snippet with the **Copy script** button.

### What to do with the code snippet?

For the widgets to work, you'll need to copy the code from Trustmary to your website, either straight to the source code, or through your platform's editor. The website platforms usually have an element called code, html, embed or the like that can run the code.

For more information on embedding to different platforms, check out our [help article collection](https://trustmary.tawk.help/category/add-reviews-to-your-site) on the topic.

### Embedding widgets in Squarespace

Now that you have the embed code, head to your Squarespace page editor and click **Edit** in the corner of your page's preview to start editing.

In the editing view, click **Add block** in a section and tn the menu that pops up, select **Embed** as the block type.

Now that you have the block on the site, double click it to bring up a context menu. Here select **Code Snippet**, and under it **Embed data**. Paste your embed code into the text box that pops up.

After that simply click **Done** in the top left corner and **Save** your changes.

Please note that Squarespace sometimes disables custom scripts in the editor by default, which prevents them from displaying correctly. You'll need to enable the embed script separately in the editor for the widget to work on your live site.
