# How is the answer count measured in reports?


You can see the answer counts in an NPS report when you scroll down to the bottom of the page. The numbers available are **Answers**, **Invitations**, and **Response rate**.

The logic behind the calculation of these numbers is **invited answer count** divided by **invited count**. To clarify, this means answers received through emails or texts sent from Trustmary divided by the total of emails or texts sent from Trustmary.

Discrepancies can happen if, for example, you have received answers to a survey **from both email and by sharing a link**.
