Finding you popup script

First you need to find the popup script, which can be done in 3 simple steps:

  1. Navigate to Notifications at app.trustmary.com

  2. Click Install script

  3. Copy and paste the script somewhere safe (e.g. notepad)

Your script is now ready and you just need to install it onto your website. Here are a couple of options:

1. Installing through Google Tag Manager

If you are using Google Tag Manager on your site, you can use the steps listed below to install your script.

  1. Navigate to tagmanager.google.com

  2. Login to your Tag Manager account you want the script to be installed to

  3. Click Tags from the left menu

  4. Click New from the right

  5. Name the tag (for example: Trustmary script - all pages)

  6. Click Tag configuration and choose "Custom HTML" from the right menu

  7. Copy and paste the Trustmary script to the empty HTML box

  8. Click Triggering below and choose All pages

  9. Click Save

  10. Submit the changes by clicking Submit from the top right and Publish and Continue after that

You're good to go! To clarify the, the tag should look similar to the image below.

2. Installing to Wordpress

If your website is built on Wordpress, you can use the steps below:

  1. Navigate and log in to your website admin console (usually website.com/wp-admin)

  2. Click plugins from the menu on the left

  3. Click Add New

  4. Search for Insert headers and footers and choose the first option that should be named Insert headers and footers and is made by WPBeginner and click Install Now

  5. After Installing click Activate

  6. Now, navigate to Insert headers and footers, you can find it from the navigation on the left under settings

  7. Copy and paste the Trustmary script to the Scripts in Header field

  8. Click save

You're good to go!
